Abstract
Gatoll is an on-chain Loot protocol for Web3 growth. A Loot is a verifiable reward campaign: a creator escrows rewards into a smart contract, defines the Gates that decide who may participate, and shares a single link. A participant who passes the Gates receives a signed voucher and claims their share directly from the contract.
The protocol rests on three guarantees:
- Funds are on-chain. Rewards are escrowed the moment a Loot is funded. There are no off-chain IOUs and no discretionary payouts — the contract holds the balance and releases it only against a valid claim.
- Claims are authorized. A claim settles only against an EIP-712 voucher signed by the verifier for a participant who passed the Gates. The contract checks the signature on-chain before releasing anything.
- Onboarding is frictionless. A pluginless embedded wallet lets a first-time user claim from a phone in seconds — no extension install, no seed-phrase ceremony.
The name is Game + Atoll: every Loot is a small island game with clear rules, real rewards, and a community that gathers around it. Gatoll optimizes for the shortest path from a social post to an on-chain reward while keeping settlement trustless and participation meaningfully gated.
Gatoll is multichain by design and launches first on BNB Chain; support for additional EVM networks follows.
This paper covers the protocol layer: the Loot primitive, the roles and architecture, the smart contracts, claim settlement, distribution and reclaim mechanics, identity & wallet, the Gate system, and the security model. Product walkthroughs and the social layer live in the docs.
Gatoll is a distribution tool, not financial advice. Nothing here is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any asset. See the disclaimers.
