Sign In & Wallet

Everything in Gatoll starts with two steps: sign in and connect a wallet. Both take seconds, and neither requires a browser extension.

Sign in with X

Gatoll uses X (Twitter) for sign-in. Click Launch App, choose Sign in with X, and authorize Gatoll. There is no new password to create, and your X profile is what makes social Gates, such as follow, work.

Connect a wallet

Claims are paid to a wallet, so you link one to your account. You have two options:

Use the built-in wallet (recommended for newcomers)

Gatoll includes an extension-free embedded wallet. If you do not already have a wallet, Gatoll creates one for you in the app: no extension to install, and no seed phrase to write down before you can act. It is non-custodial: your key is encrypted, and only you can unlock it. See embedded wallet for details and backup guidance.

Link an external wallet

Already use MetaMask, a WalletConnect wallet, or something similar? You can link it instead. Gatoll asks you to sign a short Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) message to prove you control the address. It is a signature, not a transaction, so it costs nothing.

Why wallet linking matters

The wallet you link is the address that will receive your claims, and Gatoll only signs claim vouchers for wallets linked to your account. You can link more than one wallet and choose which one receives each claim.

Note

Signing in and linking a wallet are free. You only pay network gas when you transact on-chain, such as when you create a Loot, fund it, or claim.
