Claim your rewards with zero gas. Zero BNB, zero ETH — zero problem.

Today Gatoll ships the biggest upgrade to the claiming experience since launch: gas-free claims. Creators can now sponsor their community’s claim gas — which means participants can claim on-chain rewards with a completely empty wallet.

Why this matters

For every Web2 friend you’ve onboarded, the story is always the same: they pass the gates, they hit “Claim”, and then… insufficient funds for gas. The reward is right there, but a few cents of gas stand between them and their first on-chain asset.

The embedded wallet already removed the “install an extension” wall. Gas was the wall that came next — a wallet with zero BNB or ETH still could not submit claim. It has been the single biggest drop-off point on Gatoll. Not anymore.

For participants: just claim

If a Loot has gas-free claims enabled, claiming takes one tap:

  • No gas needed — the transaction fee is fully sponsored.
  • No extra signatures — your wallet ownership was already proven when you linked it.
  • Works anywhere — new device, mobile browser, no extension, no live wallet connection or chain switch. Still claims.

The reward settles from the on-chain pool straight to your linked wallet, verifiable on the explorer as always. Prefer to pay your own gas? Self-claiming works exactly like before.

For creators: sponsor with one toggle

When creating a Loot, turn on Gas-free claims:

  1. Set how many relay seats to sponsor — seats are priced at the chain’s real gas rates.
  2. Pay a native-coin deposit along with your drop (BNB on BNB Chain, ETH on Ethereum). Seats scale with what you deposit.
  3. Done. Your participants claim gas-free, and you can top up more seats anytime from the Loot page.

If relay seats ever run out, the app gracefully falls back to self-pay — your campaign never gets stuck.

Security, unchanged

Gas-free claims changes who pays for the transaction — never where the funds go. Every claim is authorized by Gatoll’s verifier signature, and rewards can only settle to the verifier-signed recipient’s own wallet. The relayer pays gas and submits the transaction; it cannot redirect a single token. See claim & settlement and security for the trust model.

Why not a fiat onramp?

Asking someone to KYC and buy $20 of crypto so they can pay ~$0.10 of gas is the wrong trade. Gas-free keeps the sponsor on the creator — the party already paying for growth — and leaves the participant with a full reward.
